With its PAPERwrap product, Storopack is launching a smart alternative to traditional air bubble film

Metzingen, June 2026. The Storopack range now offers yet another alternative to traditional air bubble film or rolled foam made from polyethylene. PAPERwrap is made exclusively from the renewable raw material paper and can therefore be fully recycled. Easy-to-use PAPERwrap is ideal for wrapping and cushioning small and fragile products and can also be used to protect the surfaces of highly sensitive goods. Items are thus reliably protected from shocks, scratches, and damage during transport. PAPERwrap is now available to all Storopack customers around the world. 

Versatile and User-Friendly

The protective packaging comes in single and two-ply paper cushioning for perfect product protection and optimized use of resources. The 3D honeycomb structure of the die-cut kraft paper ensures optimal cushioning, while the tissue paper on the inside can be used for highly sensitive surfaces. For example, it can protect stainless steel and aluminum surfaces or glass from scratches and other forms of damage. For less sensitive goods, the user can use the honeycomb paper on its own. It is available in either brown or white. The compact machine is ready at the press of a button and can be set up for simple integration directly at the packing station or mounted on the wall. It can dispense both papers at the same time if necessary and provides simple, efficient access directly at the packing station at very high speeds of up to 98 feet per minute. Thanks to the integrated manual cutting system, the paper can be easily separated by the operator after use. As the paper is supplied on rolls and the volume is only created by the machine processing, PAPERwrap is also a very space-saving solution. In addition to optimally protecting shipping goods during transport, PAPERwrap also guarantees a positive unboxing experience for the end customer thanks to its smart properties.
