We are looking to recruit a flexible and team-oriented FOAMplus® Sales Specialist for presenting Storopack products and services that meet the packaging needs of our customers in Chicago, Illinois. This position is available for an immediate start.

FOAMplus® Sales Specialist

YOUR SKILLS:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree (required).
  • Minimum of 5 years Polyurethane experience (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years Sales Territory or Sales Manager (required).
  • Takes independent action, attempts to influence events to achieve results, seizes opportunities in a responsive manner, has a bias for action and taking appropriate risks.
  • Values people; relates and communicates well to all kinds of people across functions.
  • Influences and guides others toward identifying vision and goals, motivates /enthuses others.
  • Knows the market forces impacting businesses and customers; anticipates and identifies what customers need and value. Target which customers to serve.
  • Works effectively and appropriately with teams across all company functions; effectively works with customer cross functional teams.
  • Maximizes value; aligns individual goals with organizational and business objectives, looks to add value with every activity and appropriately challenges non-value creating activities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • PC literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Travel up to 50% of the time (required).
  • Ability to travel by private and public transportation.
  • Physically capable of lifting parts or equipment up to 75 lbs (without assistance).
  • Able to move around equipment in order to perform maintenance procedures (kneeling, bending, stooping and climbing).

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accountable for primarily Mid-West sales and margin.
  • Working with the Business Unit Manager to develop the sales plans, deliver the volume/revenue/gross margin goals, act as the key focal point for strategic customers/channels and the personal coaching/development of Storopack’s leveraged Sales Force.
  • Deliver the Mid-West annual Sales and Gross Margin Budget.
  • Develop strong relations with key influences at strategic FOAMplus® customers.
  • Introduce, coach and develop existing leveraged Sales Force to promote FOAMplus®.
  • Resolute problems.
  • Identify and support implementation of channel partners consistent with Market Plan.
  • Represent Sales and customer advocate in Sales & Operations team meetings.
  • Implement pricing to achieve margin targets.
  • Manage individual T&E budget.
