Packaging chips: Small, but so effective!
High-quality packaging materials reliably protect products against damage during transport and during storage. For goods, which need to be protected reliably, uncomplicatedly and economically, loose filling material such as packaging chips are particularly suitable. These small chips are extremely light in weight and flexible and simple to handle: The shipping carton is first assembled and the bottom covered with polystyrene chips. The package to be shipped is now placed inside it and the outer packaging can be simply filled with more chips - the lid is closed and you are all set to go! The small polystyrene chips are extremely cost-effective and very economical. When kept in bags, these packaging chips can also be stored virtually for an unlimited period, as the padding material does not absorb humidity.
Packaging chips are biodegradable
Our ultra-lightweight bio-packaging chips also offer further advantages for businesses, where environmental protection is a part of the company philosophy: They are reusable as well as recyclable. If they are no longer needed, they can be simply disposed of in the household waste. They are made of renewable raw materials and can be fully recycled as environmentally friendly packaging.
The environmentally neutral padding chips will fix your consignment optimally inside the transport packaging. Shifting and consequent damage to the product are thereby effectively prevented. Due to their good cushioning and insulating characteristics, they are suitable for packing both light and heavy goods safely. The loose packaging material made of polystyrene or vegetable starch not only protects your goods against impact, but also against temperature fluctuations.

Its light weight helps to save fuel during transport. PELASPAN® is fully recyclable as well as reusable. Disposal into established recycle circuits helps to increase reduction of virgin raw material use.
PELASPAN® BIO / Renature® - REDUCE, REUSE, RENEW
Made of renewable and fully biodegradable raw material. PELASPAN® BIO and Renature® are certified compostable according to the US ASTM D6400 (www.astm.org) and European EN 13432 (www.european-bioplastics.org) standards. Its light weight helps to save fuel during transport. PELASPAN® BIO and Renature® are fully compostable and can be disposed of in normal domestic or in bio waste.
